David Carette’s career as a creative director and scenographer have naturally led him to his first passion and original studies, photography. Nowadays David’s creative energy is strongly centred around his work as a photographer and film director. In his films and pictures there is the elaboration of a world, of a story. Creating his own reality, throughout his portraits and other stories. David images seem very real and always depict a world he loves and fears so (as) much at the same time. This is maybe the reason why all is images are the result of a fictional process. David tells you, reveals you his truths and fantasies thanks to his invented images.
