‘DEMAIN, IL FERA JOUR.’
SUPPORTS ETHICAL FASHION DESIGN
Based in Belgium, we produce all we can locally. With local sourcing, we can guarantee quality, minimal transport and packaging. It's also the best way to help, and be helped by every collaboration being a brick to build a resilient, creative and productive network.
Until now, for our fabric and its assembly, we still source materials and labor abroad. Because we need to be transparent, here is all the information about it.The fabric must be organic, and it is even better if it is made out of recycled materials.
The cutting of our T-Shirts and Sweatshirts is done abroad, and our suppliers are fully Fair-Trade labeled, which is the best guarantee that no children are involved, that a decent number of working hours is respected by the employer and that the worker has a legal and not underpaid salary. All these also guarantee the high quality of our products.
All our labels and patches are all made of organic cotton. There is no use of plastic or ink.
Everything is sewn and woven in Belgium. And the final product is assembled and sewn in Belgium. Off-set print is also made in BE. The screen printing is fully done in Belgium. And since 2020, our screen printer works exclusively with water-based ink. There is no longer any use of plastic ink. It means that the worker no longer breathes in solvents and that there is no more toxic waste either.Quality-wise, water-based ink is a much higher quality process. The colors stay longer. There is no cracking of the prints when you wash the garment. No thick plastic sheet feels. But it costs less to print with plastic ink, it goes much faster too.
We decided it was better to produce at a higher price in order to protect the workers, our planet and the quality of our product. We like to say that our products last more than one season. All this comes at a cost, and we hope that you don’t feel it too much on the price tag.
